Ontario 17

Ellisdale Construction partnered with one of the Washington D.C. region’s most esteemed developers, The Peterson Companies (the developers of the National Harbor), to construct its very first urban, infill mixed-use project. The Ontario 17 project included 80 condominium units, one floor of retail space and one level of parking.

Ellisdale won the contract that included a rebidding process and was highly involved in all phases of the project, including design inception and the initial development of the overall project budget. The type three construction process involved the meticulous demo of the historic Ontario Theater and the incorporation of these preserved historic materials into the new building design. Once the project was completed in September 2015, there was a successful, organized transition from the owner to the residents.
