Beacon Center Ground Breaking

A JV of Community Builders and Emory Beacon of Light has brought on Ellisdale Construction to demolish a Brightwood church and build a 99-unit affordable housing project. Joined by Mayor Muriel Bowser, members of each company broke ground last week on the $42.5M project at 6100 Georgia Ave NW, dubbed The Beacon Center.
