In a career spanning over 14 years in the construction industry, Ward has amassed an impressive body of work at many levels of development and management. Starting as a carpenter in Memphis, Tennessee building single-family homes, Ward soon launched his commercial career in Nashville with Centex Rodgers, where he built 970,000 square feet of successful health care projects and 375,000 square feet of new corporate office space with a construction budget of $250 million.
Ward and his family relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2003. Since then, he has developed and built 1,000 Market Rate and Affordable Housing Units and 180,000 square feet of office and retail space in the DC Metro area in excess of $150 millon.
An extensive base of knowledge in the development and building of hospital, office, mixed-use, historical restoration and high-rise multi-family projects, as well as his experience in residential homes makes Ward a valuable asset to our management team. He brings an experienced hand to many facets of the project life cycle, including pre-construction, budgeting and scheduling, team management and operations, as well as lending key support to the process in acquisitions, design, zoning, financial forecasting, financing and marketing. He holds an MBA in Finance and Management and a Bachelors in Construction Management.
Ward Currently lives in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife and three children, and is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast who enjoys coaching his childrens’ teams.
